Beam classroom is a larger, seminar-style classroom with a large capacity and touch-screen AV controls.

Technology

Instructor/Podium Station:

Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.
- Information on how to access the Virtual Windows Lab.
- Note: The computer does have an Apple Superdrive (CD/DVD-ROM - Region 1 only!).
- Note: Both the Mini & the Superdrive are located on top of the Instructor Station.
21.5" Crestron Touch Panel/Instructor Monitor.
AirTouch sit/stand instructor desk (Push the lever to gently raise or lower the desk to suit your needs).
- Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.
Lumen's DC-260 Digital Document Camera (HDMI & Power cords are at the table, the unit resides in the AV cabinet).

A/V Technologies:

Panasonic PT-RZ870 Hi-Definition Laser Projector.
- Ceiling mounted, native resolution of 1920 x 1200, 1080p (8500 Lumens of brightness).
Crestron Interactive Touch Panel Controls.
Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD Player.
- Note: Located in the AV rack, in the AV closet next to instructor's station.
Room Audio.
(2) PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) web cameras (wall mounted on far side opposite the instructor station, wall mounted behind the instructor station).
Vocal reinforcement Instructor: Yes - Lavalier to room audio (located in the AV closet).
Vocal reinforcement Audience: Yes - CatchBox to room audio.
- NOTE: The PTZ cameras, lavaliere and hanging microphones are the primary Zoom/MS Teams devices!
