Searles 216 is a computer lab generally used by Physics faculty and students for both class work and outside assignments.
Location: Searles Science Building, 2nd Floor.
Hours: By reservation.
Room Type: Computer Lab.
Seating Capacity: 7 student-use Windows computers and 1 instructor macMini.
Reservations: Contact the Campus Scheduler.

Instructor/Podium Station:
- MacMini providing macOS and a virtual Windows operating system
- A list of software for either operating system can be found in the knowledge base.
- Digital Document Camera
- Courtesy laptop hookups
A/V Technologies:
- NEC PA550W Projector
- Ceiling-mounted with resolutions up to 1280x800

- Extron Controls are located on the front of the instructor station

Computers in this room are configured to print to the Searles 2nd Floor printer using PaperCut
- There are wall-mounted chalk boards along the front of the room
- There are no windows in this room
- Room laid out in such a way to enhance some small group work and encourage collaboration
